Tom, Claire, and Lyanda are off on a family adventure to Kenya and Tanzania for June and July 2008. Follow our progress on this blog.

At the time of departure, our itinerary includes:

Kenya: Arrival in Nairobi and a day of jetlag recovery fun, ten days volunteering at the Colobus Trust, a week at East African Center, a couple of nights at A Rocha.

Tanzania: A safari out of Arusha, trekking near Kilimanjaro and in the Usamabara Mountains, a week on Zanzibar at ZIFF, and ending in Dar es Salaam to stay with friends and meet Tom’s colleagues.

All of which is subject to change and serendipity.
